Whether you are ready to train for your 1st half marathon or you are ready to crush your PR, this 12 week training program is designed to help you conquer your goals. You should be able to run 3 miles before starting this program. This program includes 4 days of running, with an optional 5th day. I highly encourage you to simultaneously follow one of the strength training programs in my app, or make sure that you do a minimum of 1 leg day and 1 full body day for injury prevention. I recommend using this pace calculator to help determine your easy pace, interval paces, race paces, and tempo paces. https://vdoto2.com/calculator/ As a former 1:1 run coach, I have trained men and women of all ages, from 5k to 50k, from beginner to Boston Qualifying. Do I need to purchase equipment?
It depends on the program! Many programs can be done at home with just dumbbells and resistance bands. Other programs are programmed with exercises using basic gym machines.
